Be a winner, not a quitter.

Hey guys, i know i'd been losing my blogging mojo recently all thanks to the ASS-ignments and workloads. I'm officially a Degree student now in Mass Communication and i'm loving every single bits of it. Except for one particular subject that is extremely crappy. -____-

Can you imagine we have THREE assignments and TWO presentations meeting on the same deadline? 14th of June that is. Not much time left! GAAAHH!!

My stress level is beyond godlike. *headbang on the wall*

Anyways, i had a great day with Miinyee aka the teddy bear today. Finally got to meet up like after SIX goddamnfreaking years. Heee. But i'm glad that he's way stronger now after his dad's passing last week. At least i could paint a smile on his face. =) *My deepest condolence goes to you and the family. May the God bless daddy's soul*

All the best on your first day of work tomorrow and do keep to your words! Thank you for making time tho! Be strong! *xoxo* =)

Fairness and equality?

"Do you think it's fair to moan over a man who has completely move on and no longer take you as his priority in his life? Do you think it's fair to cry over a man who doesn't even care about you and only wanted to BED you? You weren't staying under one roof with him, what more when you seldom have the chance to even meet him. How does that make you a VERY possessive person then? It wouldn't be surprising if all those days when he was with you, he was also with some other chic behind your back. He was only taking you for granted because he knows you're there. And you WILL be there. Since he chose to brutally leave, why not just let him go and move on with your own life? And since he's totally into another chic right now, what else do you expect? Do you REALLY think he'll come back to you? Or do you WANT to be hurt that way again? Or do you WANT to just slice him like a honey baked ham? Hell no ain't? Trust me, you've totally move on with life, just that you're not happy because he moved on way faster than you do. You know pretty well that you no longer cry as much as you did, and you realized that you are way stronger than that. You know very well that you are better off without him. So never blame yourself for whatever shit that happened. Just be glad. And STOP DEFENDING HIM. "

FUCK.

A million thank yous.

Ello peeps! Thank you so much for all the wishes, presents, red packets and awesome outings! Indeed i had a great time yesterday! *big big hugs*

Especially to the both dearie and darling, thank you for accompanying me throughout the day!
Will upload the pictures soon coz' i really have to head to bed now. Been sneezing so much and i can foresee the fever is on the way~! =(

Btw, Robin Hood is one great movie. Was reluctant to watch it at first but it turns out to be great!

I survived through the day with 2 teeth marks - one on my shoulder and one on my fist.

Benji the dog is cruel. =(

...

*updated*

1) With the friends.

Firstly went out with the both dearie, darling and Jian Hong to i-Shabu nearby our uni. Quite a good place, very cozy and comfortable. Most importantly its cheap. RM 5.90 for the set lunch which i couldn't even finish.

Then in the afternoon we headed to Wong Kok @ Leisure Mall. Its somewhat like a tradition to claim the HUGE milk tea. ( Ok, that's not true. It's because we had so much extra time that we didn't know what to do. =P)

Getting horny in the restaurant? *shakes head*

Was forced to do it. T___T

Then movie with Benji. This movie turns out to be really good! Tenkiu tho! =b

2) At Genting with the family.

Then during the weekend, grandparents, 4th uncle and aunt, 5th aunt's family and my family, went up to Genting for a day trip getaway. Since my birthday fall on the same day with my grandpa (our chinese bday is the same), 4th uncle and aunt decided to feed us with yummy food at Genting Palace Restaurant which was situated right beside the Genting casino. BUT, drama happened.

*Steamed Soon Hock*

*Abolone with mushrooms and broccoli in thick gravy*

Despite the good food, their service was quite bad because there's really too many people during the weekend. So the dishes came REALLY slow. First was the steamed soon hock, then after like 20 mins, the abolone dish came. After that, other dishes never come even after we asked the staffs like uncountable times. Then came one waitress that took our order, she apologized because the kitchen forgotten our dishes. Then BAM! First time in my ENTIRE life, i saw my uncle was really on FIRE. Literally. I'm not gonna go on further about what happened, but guess what? He only paid for the abalone dish. Others were free. (Fyi, that steamed fish is more expensive than the abalone). Heeeeee. Seriously i wish i get to eat the other dishes as well because the first two dishes were so freaking delicious. But SIGH. And oh, apparently not only us who were so pissed with them. We saw this table, they started yelling at them too and just went off. Like that.

My lessons-to-be-learnt on that day : Never ever keep your customers waiting and NEVER mess with rich, ELDERLY/ OLD people. NEVER. LOL. (These rich old ppl are the ones that bet freaking RM1k on a single number in roulette and just lose it like that! **** )

3) Dinner with the immediate family at Chilis.

Tequila-lime fish fillet.

Honey chicken crispers.

Lamb shoulder.
This is the BOMB! Love it to the max! Hungry now looking at it. Teehee.

Then told them that it was my birthday, and they came with a slice of brownies with a BIG scoop of ice-cream on top. It's on the house btw and best thing is, they don't check the IC. And it runs for the whole month!

The moment they brought this, a group of staffs came to sing the bday song like so damn effing loud. Embarrassing sia. =P

But really, thank you so much to everyone and for everything! Thank you God for bestowing such great people in my life! =)

Now i cant stop myself
From missing someone like you.

Impossible.

"I remember years ago
Someone told me i should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did, i did

And you were strong and i was not
My illusion, my mistake
I was careless, i forgot
I did

And now when all is done
There is nothing to say
You have gone and so effortlessly
You have won
You can go ahead tell them

Tell them all i know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the skyline
All we had is gone now

Tell them i was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what i hoped would be
Impossible, impossible, impossible, impossible

Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worst
Broken trust and broken hearts
I know, i know

And now when all is gone
There is nothing to say
And if you're done embarrassing me
On your own you can go ahead and tell them

I remember years ago
Someone told i should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did....."

....
It seems like just yesterday
You were a part of me.

Happy Mother's Day!

To all the mothers in the world, including my grandma, dearest mummy, aunts and not to forget the mummy that is above, i just wanna wish all of you a very HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Thank you for being such incredible mummy. =)

...

I'm sorry that i gtg now. Just came back from Malacca and i'm sick. Will continue with this post soon! Goodnight!

And to all football fans, not too late! Tho i know there'll be lotsa zombies-look-alike tmrw. Teehee.

*Updated*

So we were back in Malacca last weekend to celebrate Mother's Day and to bring the grands here in KL. Malacca has always been at the top of my list, the place where i could find peace and serenity, also with varieties of good food which you can hardly find in other places mainly satay celup, chicken rice balls, wantan mee and cendol to name a few. To top that, Malacca is going thru a HUGE makeover; Klebang beach is soon to be named as Klebang Gold Coast (somewhat like Sepang Gold Coast, lol), theme parks will be built right beside the beach, Marina is one awesome project, the man-made island and not to forget a big Aeon Jusco right at da back of my kampung! Now, i can't find any reason why i should not make Malacca as my permanent home in the future...

Ok, kidding.

Back to the main topic. We celebrated Mother's Day one day earlier but oh boy i tell you....all the restaurants are fully booked! We wanted to dine in at Bei Zhan (one of the best restaurants that serves really good food at affordable prices and i'll give 10 thumbs up if i have 10 thumbs wth.) But since it was fully booked (eventho they had 3 floors) we ended up eating at Bayonya because our 2nd and 3rd choice of restaurants also fully booked. Since we've yet to try this out, so we thought why not give it a try.

These authentic home-cooked peranakan dishes were not too bad after all. Except for the omellette fried with cincalok which tasted quite bland.

And we found another new place that serves yummy char kuey teow and wantan mee. It's a kopitiam btw.

The ais kacang is damn old skool, saw my 'rokok' biscuits? :D

It's the mango season too so the 2 huge mango tress planted outside gradpa's house were well-bloomed, with mangoes of course.

We got 4 baskets of all these mangoes! :D
I love pickled mangoes. Yumsss!

Anyways, we bought apron for mummy last year because she's been asking for a new set of apron like so long before that and it was literally a present from Johshua PYS since he paid for it. =) But sadly, i think mummy somewhat knows that we're no longer together, so she also no longer wears the apron. She would give me all sorts of reasons each time i asked her about it till i get so tired of asking. I understand that she cares for how i feel but it's just so heart-warming to see her wears it all the time but now? *sigh*

This year around, i insisted that she personally choose her gift instead. =)

You see, mummy didn't have her ear lobes pierced so in times like this, it's really hard to find stud earrings. The moment she saw this, BAM, a hole in my purse. Heeee, obviously it was worth it. =D

It's time to hit the sack! Nitez!

*i really wonder if he ever reads my blog or stumble across my tweets*

Grand final of Adidas Treadmill Challenge @ Celebrity Fitness, Mid Valley.

Last Saturday was the finale for the Adidas Treadmill Challenge @ Celebrity Fitness, Mid Valley. For those who doesn't know what was it all about, Adidas Treadmill Challenge is sort of like a competition that has been going on for the past one month whereby every participant has to run for 15 minutes on the treadmill and their distances will be recorded. At the end of the day, four top runners from four different Celebrity Fitness ( Mid Valley, Wangsa Walk, Subang Parade and One Utama ) are selected to compete for the grand prize - a miCoach pacer and a miCoach Zone for the first runner-up.

Was there about 0815 to set up the place.

A sneak peak into their goodie bags.
A pair of Adidas sports attire and a RM200 voucher.

miCoach Zone on the left and miCoach Pacer on the right.

Finalists came at 10.
L-R : Mohd Syahidan, Wee Ming, Chen Siong and Andrew Phillips.

And the moment that they'd been anticipating for - the prize giving ceremony. I'm sorry because the pictures are not with me. But the winners are as follow;

Third runner-up : Wee Ming
Second runner-up : Andrew Phillips
First runner-up : Chen Siong
Champion : Mohd Syahidan

Congratulations to all participants! Everyone is still a winner no matter what. =)

The team. Without the boss of coz. Bwahahaha.

Then came lunchie time. As much as i love to eat, i really don't mind spending on good food. So ended up in Chilis! *big smile*

Eggrolls.
Tasted like currypuffs to me. Pfffft.

I totally forgot what isit called. Super long name that sounded like something spicy honey chicken crispy something something. Whatever it is i'll give two thumbs up for this as it was really tasty and the chicken was tender. Hungry now!!

But this time around i did not pay for the food. So where did all my money go to when i didn't splurge on anything for a very long time already? T____T

Neways, a good news to those that want to win themselves a set of miCoach Pacer. You can now win it by just answering a simple MCQ in Facebook and you might be the lucky one to have your own 'personal coach' to guide you thru! It's such easy-peasy! (Psst, the miCoach pacer costs RM519.) =)

Have a great day!

.....
Thinking of you.
