Kampachi @Pavilion, KL.

Ahhhh, it has been a while since my last review about restaurants and food.

Allow me to drool you with the yet another awesome Japanese restaurant that we've tried few days back which is none other than KAMPACHI that's situated in Pavilion, KL!

 *beams*

As usual, the restaurant offers varieties of fine Japanese food selection and i swear i kept flipping the menu from front to back, back to front for the umpteenth times. I was spoilt for choice indeed. If only i could stomach a lil' of everything teehee.

Neways,

#1.

Sashimi is a must!
It's pretty hard to get like really really fresh sashimi unless you're willing to fork out the extra bucks.

Back when i was so much younger (not like i'm that old now but yea haha) i find it so hard to stomach raw food as i find it pretty disgusting and tasted awful by the nasty fishy taste/smell. And there was once where pictures of an old Japanese man's brain was full with worms went viral in e-mails cause' of the raw food. Pretty yucky i must say.
But not till the fact that almost every family members of mine love Japanese food and i've slowly overcome the fear and i am so proud to say that i LOVE em' fresh! Hah!

If you're wondering, that plate of sashimi costs nearly RM 300. Or slightly lower or more.

If you're wondering why it's costly that is cause of the toro fish aka fatty tuna. It is like one of the most valued sushi ingredient. Taste soooooooo good.

#2.

Ten Don Set. RM 45.

I love tempuras. Deep fried succulent prawns were the bomb. I like the fact that it's crunchy and not oily. If only they have that tempura dipping sauce then it would be perfect.
It's serve with miso soup, pickles, radish and fruits.
Balanced diet, no? =b

#3.

The Hot Pot Seafood Rice. RM 45.

Leave it for 7 minutes before you indulge in that.
I personally think that the rice is so-so but the ingredients like scallops and such were tasty.

#4.

Agedashi Tofu.
(I'm sorry i really can't remember how much this is but i believe it has to be at least RM 20+.)

This is a must try. One of my favourite side dishes. I love how it was fried to perfection and the broth was simply delicious. Can never get bored of this.

Total damage was RM 600+. But there's another two sets of meals that were too late to be captured before they were digged in lol.

I think this is the second premier Japanese restaurant that i've dine in after Tatsu that is situated in Intercontinental Hotel, KL. If you are a complete sucker for Japanese cuisine like me, hesitate no more.
=)

P/S 1: I actually like how they offer us the 'lesser salty' version of shoyu. Taste good!
P/S 2: I might not be exactly right over the price stated above but it is more or less around that price.
P/S 3: AM HUNGRY NOW AT 1.10 AM!!!

Kampachi is located at;

Lot 6.09.00, Level 6,
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur,
168 Jalan Bukit Bintang,
55100 Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.

On a side note, if you're looking for affordable and good Japanese buffet, feel free to check out this post right here!

A Place Not to be Missed When You're in Bangkok;

Hello folks!
Here's the continuation from my previous post regarding the trip to Bangkok with my fam.
It is downright true that Bangkok is famous for its shopping galore and Chatuchak Market a.k.a JJ Market is something you definitely do not want to miss out. Girls, i bet you will go crazy!!

P/S: Be prepared to drenched yourself in sweat and that very-uncomfortable-sticky feeling on your largest organ; the skin.

Take the BTS (Sky Train) and the last stop (Mo Chit) is where the Chatuchak Market is.
It is about 5 to 6 stops from where we stayed and we only paid about 40 baht per person if im not mistaken.
(The BTS is uber convenient and cheap tho taking cabs in Bangkok is rather cheap too.)

Since Chatuchak Market is only open during the weekends, hence, the place is so crowded with both locals and tourists as well.

"Bangkok's Chatuchak area is of course famous for the mother of all markets, Chatuchak Weekend Market the biggest in Asia. Covering 70 rai (35 acres) of land with over 15,000 stalls and more than 200,000 visitors every Saturday and Sunday, conquering this massive market is no easy feat. A visit to the Thai capital would also not be complete without a day or two browsing here, because a few hours simply won't do the job."

Basically, the market is divided into quite a number of sections;

a) Clothings and accessories - sections 2-6, 10-26
b) Handicrafts - sections 8-11
c) Ceramics - sections 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 25
d) Furniture and home decoration - sections 1, 3, 4, 7, 8
e) Food and beverage - sections 2, 3, 4, 23, 24, 26, 27
f) Plants and gardening tools - sections 3, 4
g) Art and gallery - section 7
h) Pets and pet accessories - sections 8, 9, 11, 13
i) Books - sections 1, 27
j) Antiques and collectibles - sections 1, 26

Along the street before you enter the market.

LOL!
Perfect meme to prank on guys if you know what i mean. ;)

I was so in loveeeeeeee with this shop. Guess which one i picked for le boyf and myself. Teehee.

Everything here is about pork! Mad love!

My fav grilled porky. Only 10 baht (RM 1) per stick!

Drink this and fap happily lol wtf.

A must try!! Add in whatever ingredients that is prepared on the table (fish oil, sugar, chilli flakes) and waaa-lah!

The pets section.

Advertising campaign for Whiskas.
If you have been to Thailand, i'm pretty sure you'll be amazed by their creativity in the advertising campaigns.
Really mind-blowing.

I reckon that its a advertising campaign for their telco?
It was so cool!

All in all, you can get just about anything and everything here in Chatuchak. Just bear the heat and be prepared too for being exhausted and sore legs at the end of the day. Honestly, i did not really go through every single alley cause' there's too many and it is rather confusing (no wonder people call it a maze!).

Also, brush up on your negotiation skills and bargain for the best price! I bought dresses and bikini at below RM 25! Just imagine how crazy you'll get. ;)

Just a confession tho, after visiting Bangkok i will not buy anything online anymore. It's the same stuffs and yet they hike the price to at least triple!

Have fun shopping in Bangkok! Don't forget Platinum fashion shopping mall as well. ;)

Til' then, have a great day ahead lovelies!

Love,
Sue.

Breathe Again;

Car is parked, bags are packed, but what kind of heart doesn't look back
At the comfortable glow from the porch, the one i would still call yours?
All those words came undone and now i'm not the only one
Facing the ghosts that decide if the fire inside still burns

All i have, all i need, he's the air that i would kill to breathe
Holds my love in his hands, still i'm searching for something
Out of breath, I am left hoping someday i'll breathe again
I'll breathe again

Open up next to you and my secrets become your truth
And the distance between that was sheltering me comes in full view
Hang my head, break my heart built from all i have torn apart
And my burden to bear is a love i can't carry anymore

It hurts to be here
I only wanted love from you
It hurts to be here
What am i gonna do?

All i have, all i need, he's the air that i would kill to breathe
Holds my love in his hands, still i'm searching for something
Out of breath, I am left hoping someday i'll breathe again
I'll breathe again
I'll breathe again...

Supermum and Dad with their Lil' Ones. =)

Just saw a cat roaming around the streets just now and i have this sudden urge to blog about the kitties in my grandparents' house back in Malacca!

They are stray cats but they're like a family to my grands. It's really adorable when they were 'meowing' for food when they know its lunch/dinner time by waiting outside the grill.

Last year, the supermum gave birth to a few kittens but i only had like two pics of em' back then.

That is the supermum with its super playful kitten.

No idea why i only have this kitten's pic in my phone but i guess cause' only this one attracts me.

I kindda made a string ball and played with it. It is super playful and it kepts on catching the string ball and bites it. Super chio can!

Then a few weeks back when we returned back to my hometown, we found out that the supermum gave birth to lil' kitties again! I have pics when they were about 2 weeks old but they're all in the boyf's phone so i'm just gonna show you pics of them that is around 2 months old. =)

The kitten on the left is half-blinded (named it Winky) and i think that cat on the right is their dad lol.

Btw, the 'dad' has a very bushy tail for some reasons.

Winky is always sticking to its mum for milk. This shot was taken on a very lazy afternoon.

When food is served, no matter you're old or young, its still first come first serve policy.

How many cats can you spot? ;)

This cat is super naughty, mischievous and aggressive.
It literally stares at you and 'rawrs' at you and then run to hide.
It literally looks like this when it 'rawrs';

Somewhat funny cause' it was showing his power but at the same time went and run to hide.

This is Winky, the half-blinded kitty.
The left eye looks like it's winking right? Teehee. So adorable but so sad that the mum has to always lick the eye. I think it somewhat helps to regain/improves the kitties' eyesight bit by bit.

Forever sucking on milk. =)

This supermum has already been preggie for a few times already. The population is getting higher and higher! LOL.

The pussy is licking its pussy;

Till then, have a great weekend ahead!
*winks*

Love,
Sue.
