Sands SkyPark Infinity Pool @ Marina Bay Sands.

I'm on my very LAST semester break.
I don't know if i should be happy.
Mixed feelings, indeed.
New chapter of life will be starting real soon; the working life.
Yeah, it's not like a big deal anyway.
Everyone faces it.
The only difference is who loves their job and who doesn't.
I hope mine's ain't that bad, tho i'm quite sceptical about the upcoming internshit. Hmm.

Anyways,
this is a long overdue post.
Which i'd promised much, much earlier.
And so, my mind decided to wander a lil' to the one of the best memories i had in 2012.
It was all because i spent it with the entire family.
=)

The 150-metre infinity-edged swimming pool located 57 storeys above the ground.
"Crowning the three hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands at 200 metres in the sky, the Sands SkyPark stretches longer than the Eiffel Tower when laid down".

It was all about
FREEDOM. RELAXATION. FUN. HAPPY.

It was the time where nothing seems to matter.
Being stress-free and carefree is probably the best feeling one could ever had. =)

Wish to be there right now.

And oh, they had their very own photographer there as well to take awesome photos for you where you can collect after a few hours.
Could not recall how much tho teehee.

Last but not least,

Love this shot!
=)

A Great Dining Experience @ El Cerdo, Changkat KL.

We had another great yet exciting dinner!
It has been a weekly affair (almost) that we've been going around, hunting for the best food in town!
I know i haven't been updating this site for months, but now that i'm finally got my degree life done and over with, i HOPE i could find the blogging mojo back. Heh. Will start off by the latest and lets see if i could find the excitement to write about the previous hang outs. ;)

So......

Tonight's dinner was all about pork and wine.

"El Cerdo", means pork in Spanish.
One of the restaurants that i would really love to dine in ever since we passed by it the other day after Nuffnang's 6th Birthday Bash. ;)

It was crowded and fully packed for the night. We were very lucky to have a table! Thanks to whoever that cancelled their reservation last minute tho. :)

Now, lets pig out!
No appetiser, straight to main course!
And all these are their signature dishes. ;)

1.

Oven Roasted Iberico Spare Ribs Serve with Pineapple Salsa.
It was marinated and cooked to perfection.
Meat was very tender and juicy.
You might be getting some of em' stuck in between your teeth but it was so good that you can't resist licking your fingers as well.

2.

Seafood Paella.
A well-known Valencian rice dish.
It was indeed a very good tummy filler.
If you don't already know, it's somewhat like seafood added in 'fried rice' that is cooked to perfection.
Very rich in taste and seafood were fresh.
(You can opt for chicken meat instead of seafood)

3.

Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak.
The best out of the best!
My favourite item of all.
Tasty. Tasty. Tasty.
Nuff' said.
Definitely going back for this! :)

4.

Suckling Pig. (RM 188++)
The whole idea of this is the skin.
Thin and crisp.
But overall it was too oily for me.
Not the best suckling pig i've ever tried but it was still not that bad.
The only highlight about this pig was the Spanish tradition - boyf was asked to use a plate to knock on the wood for three times, then chop the pig into 3 parts, using the same plate.
Make a wish, then drop the plate into the pail.
Basically, breaking of plates means shooing away bad luck.
Some said its gimmick. But well, it's something out of the ordinary.
Plates don't cost much anyways. That pig does!

5.

Caramelized Banana.
Overwhelmed sweetness.
Way too sweet that it literally covers the taste of the other desserts.
The bananas were not bad, tho.

6.

Andreas Special 'A Dream in Chocolate'.
Vanilla ice-cream, milk-chocolate mousse, chocolate crumble,
bananas in passion fruit and pear in red wine.
Not my favourite as well.
There's a very weird taste.
I don't know,
probably cause all the desserts are too rich that
my taste receptors decided to go cuckoo for a moment lol.

7.

Rum & Raisin Pancake "Kaiserschmarrn".
This is gooooood!
Never knew pancake could be this yummy.
It has apple filling inside, if not mistaken.
Very refreshing.
Not too rich, just nice.

8.

Home Made Tiramisu with Mango Sauce. (RM 22)
I'm a sucker for tiramisu.
And i must say this is my ultimate fav!
Some said the coffee powder's too bitter but i think it's just nice.
It was creamy yet not too filling.
It was rich yet light.
Oh, but i didnt' even bother to try the mango sauce.
Coffee and mango? Meh.

............................

All in all, i was a very satisfied patron.
Truth is, you can never go wrong with pork.
Thank you for the great dining experience. =)
